Detecting Python Malware in the Software Supply Chain with Program Analysis

This paper presents a program-analysis-based approach for detecting malicious Python packages in the software supply chain. The approach itself does not use LLMs; one of its motivations is to catch supply-chain faults that could otherwise poison LLM training data.
